The main objective of launching Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana in Assam is to target the welfare of all government employees in the state. The scheme was launched to ensure that state government employees, whether retired or currently working in the government, get health insurance benefits of up to Rs 5 million per annum to prevent them from falling sick.
