Qualification

Eligibility

1. Master’s Degree: To be considered for the position, applicants should possess an MCom degree with specializations in relevant disciplines.
2. Academic Excellence: A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s level from an Indian or accredited foreign institution.
3. National Eligibility Test (NET): Applicants must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET.
4. Ph.D. Exemption: Individuals holding a Ph.D. degree are not required to have cleared the NET/SLET/SET examination.
5. Disciplinary Exceptions: NET/SLET/SET may not be required for certain Master’s programs where these tests are not conducted.
6. Reserved Categories: A relaxation of 5% applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category for both graduate and Master’s level.
7. Teaching/Research Experience: The period spent obtaining M.Phil and/or Ph.D. degrees will not be considered as teaching or research experience.
